SYNOPSIS:
With the increasing adoption of minimally invasive techniques in everyday clinical practice, use of direct composites have become second nature and it is imperative that clinicians leverage the aesthetic potential of these versatile materials for the best restorative outcomes.
The workshop will delve into a specific dimension of composite artistry and focus on the role of direct veneers in aesthetic enhancement of patient’s smile while minimizing the removal of healthy tooth structure. The participants will learn the techniques that increase accuracy of shade selection as well as the 3D concept to composite stratification in direct veneer restoration. They will also be guided on predictable finishing and polishing steps to creating life-like aesthetic restorations with greater resistance to material ageing and wear.

SPEAKER PROFILE:
Dr. Onny Eryanto graduated with a DDS from Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia in 2010 and was conferred a Fellow of the Indonesian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2019.
A dedicated and passionate aesthetic dentist, Dr. Onny believes in lifelong learning and sharing his expertise with his peers and the dental community. He actively attends continuing education courses on photography, smile design, prosthodontic, restorative and implant dentistry to stay abreast of the latest trends and techniques.He is a Key Opinion Leader for global dental companies and regularly conducts courses on aesthetic dentistry in Indonesia and the international arena.
Dr. Onny routinely integrates dental photography and digital intraoral scanning to enhance his daily workflow. He advocates the selection of the best treatment option combined with the right materials to optimize the aesthetic and functional outcomes that assures the longevity of the restoration place and increases patient compliance.
He runs a busy private practice in Surabaya, where he lives with his wife and 2 children.
