Elevating Aesthetic Excellence with Lithium Disilicate

Date: 02 February 2026
Lecture: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Venue: Medtronicam Office, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Synopsis

Lithium disilicate is widely regarded as one of the most aesthetic materials for smile makeovers. Its needle-like (acicular) densely packed crystals provide exceptional strength and durability, making it ideal for crowns, inlays, and onlays.

Lithium disilicate restorations can be fabricated as fully contoured prostheses, customized with stains, or by veneering the lithium disilicate frame with low-fusing ceramic materials. These restorations often meet and even exceed patients’ aesthetic expectations.

In this session, we will explore the lithium disilicate fabrication process, highlighting key factors that impact the outcome—ranging from tooth preparation to pressing, ceramic layering, staining, and predictable cementation. Additionally, we will discuss the aesthetic potential and clinical viability of the Vintage Art Universal system, and how it can be seamlessly integrated into the daily workflow of dental clinics and laboratories.

Learning Objectives:

– Key to getting the shade right
– Simple and predictable fabrication steps to creating life-like lithium disilicate restorations
– Recreating natural surface texture with a predictable approach to contouring and finishing
– Insight to potential problems and solutions along with best practices for minimizing errors  in workflow

Workshop Tasks:

– Life-like staining of Anterior Veneers.
– Layering steps for Lithium Disilicate Anterior crown with Vintage LD
– Step by step guide to 3D Staining with Vintage Art Universal Stains
