  • Individualizing CADCAM Restorations in the Aesthetic Zone

Individualizing CADCAM Restorations in the Aesthetic Zone

    Date: 27 July 2023

    Time: 9.00am – 5.30pm

Venue: 1 Tran Van Danh Street, Ward 13,Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

    LECTURE SYNOPSIS:

With increasing digitalization in dentistry, use of CADCAM zirconia restorations is growing at a rapid pace. Veneering zirconia porcelain such as Vintage ZR enables the dental technicians to easily replicate the patient’s natural teeth, either through a full layering technique or micro-layering of just the enamel layer especially for restorations in the aesthetic zone. Vintage ZR micro-fine porcelain is designed for easy control during build up and mimics the opalescence of natural enamel, making it “the” perfect choice for micro-stratification of CADCAM zirconia restorations.

What’s even more relevant to digital labs is the value of Vintage Art Universal Stains in the aesthetic enhancement of CADCAM restorations for highly aesthetic cases.

    LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

    • Understanding dental colour to achieve true shade match with Vintage ZR micro-layer.
    • Predictable, step by step guide to layering Vintage ZR porcelain with emphasis on dentin-enamel thickness calibration and micro-layering
    • Creating life-like surface textures and anatomical contouring
    • Insights to 2D and 3D staining of Zirconia restorations with Vintage Art Universal Stains
