Lecture Title: Versatile Techniques for Modern Dentistry with Injectables
Synopsis:
In this lecture, general dentists will explore the transformative potential of injectable resin composites across a wide range of clinical applications. Designed to enhance efficiency, precision, and aesthetics, this presentation will delve into both aesthetic and practical uses. Dr Ronnie will share how he incorporates Injectables in routine clinical practice using minimally invasive approaches in Injection-moulded veneers, enhances gingival harmony by closing black triangles, increases precision and predictability with tooth shape aesthetic enhancements, Strengthens and optimizes adhesion in direct restorations with liners for immediate dentin sealing.
Beyond conventional uses, attendees will also learn unique uses of injectables in repairing existing restorations, creating mock-ups, integrating composites as attachments for clear aligner therapy and the fabrication of elastic hooks, usage in immediate implant provisionalisation. Additional tips and tricks will be shared to help clinicians maximize the potential of these materials in everyday practice.
Through a blend of evidence-based techniques, clinical insights, and real-world case examples, this session will equip practitioners with practical, actionable strategies to elevate their restorative and aesthetic outcomes. Whether streamlining workflows or tackling complex aesthetic challenges, participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to leverage these materials effectively in everyday practice.

Hands-on Workshop Title: Compression Moulding Technique for Aesthetic Peg Lateral Incisor Restorations
Synopsis:
This innovative hands-on workshop introduces a novel approach for aesthetic build-up of peg lateral incisors using bioactive resin composite through a compression moulding technique. Adapted from the principles of injection moulding, this method offers superior outcomes compared to conventional direct bonding. Participants will learn a faster, more predictable, and efficient technique that minimizes bubbles, enhances surface finishing, and streamlines the polishing process, elevating the aesthetic results of their restorations. Knowledge and skill acquired can also be applied to direct resin veneers.
Workshop Objectives
- Understand the principles of compression moulding technique and its advantages over conventional direct bonding.
- Master the step-by-step process for aesthetic build-up of a peg lateral incisor and based on layering principles.
- Learn to achieve bubble-free, high-quality restorations with improved anatomy and surface texture.
- Develop skills in efficient finishing and polishing for optimal aesthetic outcomes.
- Gain confidence in implementing this technique in clinical practice for enhanced productivity and patient satisfaction.
Workshop Highlights
- Interactive Lecture: Overview of peg lateral incisor challenges, limitations of traditional techniques, and the science behind compression moulding.
- Hands-On Training: Practical demonstration and participant practice on typodont models, focusing on material selection, mould preparation, composite application, and finishing.
- Clinical Tips: Strategies for achieving predictable results, troubleshooting common issues, and integrating the technique into everyday practice.
- Q&A Session: Direct interaction with the instructor to address individual queries and clinical scenarios.
Join this workshop to revolutionize your approach to peg lateral incisor restorations with a technique that combines speed, precision, and aesthetic excellence!
